Question/Comment: 

Vacuum needs to be kept 10^-5-10^-7 without pumping for a year. 
Need gauge, temp sensors in can.

NIC-FPS Response:

Will be using a cryosorption (getter) system that has been shown
capable of achieving this one year goal.  Have eliminated one large
diameter o-ring to limit in-leakage and will conduct dewar leak testing
to eliminate sources of in-leakage that can be avoided.  A pressure
gage that covers the normal operating pressure range (not necessarily
one atmosphere down to milli-torr) and about four temperature sensors
are planned to provide real-time electronic monitoring of the dewar
environmentals.
